This is my first attempt at making one of the popular fashion Shamballa bracelet which are based on a Buddhist myth and symbolize peace, tranquillity and happiness. You use pave beads, crystals and leather cord. I learned to make mine at a free class at The Bead Biz in Helena, AL. http://www.thebeadbiz.com/. I bought some pave beads and my grey 1mm leather cord from this store and also ordered some more pave beads from Beadcorp . You use a macrame technique to make the knots and can add whatever beads you wish. The bracelets are adjustable and have a little 3 knot piece that slides to open the bracelet wider and closes to make it tighter. This You Tube video shows you how to make the knots  Have fun!!
